  • After a successful foray into the world of Australian craft gin with the Garden Street Gin Club, partners Josh and Lauren decided to embrace their next big passion; the world of whisky.As avid whisky drinkers themselves, it felt like a logical step to share incredible products with other everyday Australians.

    While the Aussie whisky industry is still relatively new on the scene – we're quickly seeing them taking out world whisky of the year awards in prestigious competitions. It’s taken plenty of time, but fantastic offerings are finally reaching maturity and we’ve been searching high and low for hidden gems and finding them in spades.

  • Having built up a strong network of Australia's best craft distilleries with the Gin Club for the last 4 years, Josh found that there were plenty of incredible whiskies waiting in the wings to be discovered to put our local Aussie spirit on the map in a big way. Enter Barrel Lane!

    This passion project aims to introduce the incredible, weird and wonderful whiskys to avid drinkers all around the country. Keeping our membership base small means that we can curate and share niche one-off releases that can't be found anywhere else. Once it's gone, it's gone forever!
