Destiny Returns marks our third exclusive release with Amber Lane Distillery, and the revival of Destiny, the whisky with a cult following that first introduced Rod Berry and Phil Townsend to the Australian whisky world. After the original release sold out in 2022, Amber Lane have been fielding requests to bring it back. Four years on, Rod and Phil have decided the time is right, and they've chosen our members to share it with.

This is Destiny, refined: older spirit, greater cask depth and a more evolved maturation program. Matured for five to six years across ex-Heaven Hill Bourbon casks, Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso casks from Jerez de la Frontera, and French oak Apera casks, with selected casks undergoing a Cognac-inspired élevage. The result is rich and full-bodied without feeling heavy, with a polished texture and a long, elegant finish. One for the collection, and unlikely to sit in it for long.
