Anticipate aromas of honeysuckle and vanilla, followed by the rich flavours of banoffee pie and zesty lemon peel, culminating in a gratifying finish of creamy white chocolate and subtly smoked almond.

With bourbon cask releases firmly within the Kinglake Distillery wheelhouse, this Double Bourbon release is an exercise in showcasing the potential of STR casks. On their off-grid carbon-neutral distillery with its own spring water, nature influences every stage of the whisky-making process. Kinglake is one of very few distilleries utilising long open ferments for their wash; allowing natural pollens and yeasts in the mountain air to impart their unique flavours. The result is a 3 year old whisky that is very similar in style to traditional Scottish malts. Expect warm vanilla and butterscotch notes from the American Oak, with a subtle sweetness and emphasis on the signature malt spirit.
