Utilising older spirit, unique elevage maturation techniques and premium casks sourced in Jerez de la Frontera, this release shows exactly why Amber Lane continues to take home gold on the world stage, cementing their place as one of Australia's most awarded distilleries.

Utilising older spirit, unique elevage maturation techniques and premium casks sourced in Jerez de la Frontera, this release shows exactly why Amber Lane continues to take home gold on the world stage, cementing their place as one of Australia's most awarded distilleries.
Warm and generous on the nose, with honey, apricot and butter layered over light oak spice. The palate opens into buttered pancakes with maple syrup, cinnamon, dried apricot, raisins and white chocolate, with a beautifully coating texture and a sense of polish from the older spirit.The finish is long and satisfying, carrying vanilla nougat, cinnamon and honey well beyond the final sip. Rich without becoming heavy, it’s a balanced, elegant whisky with plenty of depth and an easy-drinking character at 46% ABV.

This release marks our very first collaboration with Cut Hill Wall Distillery in South Australia's Hindmarsh Valley. To mark the occasion, Head Distiller Brad Rehn wanted to showcase what is setting them apart from every other distillery in Australia: maturation of their Single Malt in ex-Mead casks. Bringing notes of honeycomb, vanilla, butter cinnamon and nutmeg, these stunning ex-Mead casks were balanced with ex-bourbon and ex-red wine casks for a generous whisky that lingers with comforting notes of fresh Danish pastries.

The nose opens with vanilla and gentle oak before cinnamon, nutmeg and a soft custard richness emerge from the glass. The palate is buttery and full-bodied, layered with creamy vanilla, warming spice and gentle notes reminiscent of freshly baked pastries.
The finish is long and smooth, carrying baking spice and gentle oak well past the last sip.

You choose how often you’d like a whisky delivered—monthly or every two months. Before each release, we’ll email you with the featured bottle. You can opt in or out, skip a delivery, or cancel anytime. No surprises, no pressure.
What kind of whisky do I receive?
Only the best of Australian craft. Every bottle is small-batch, carefully sourced, and professionally reviewed by our tasting panel. These are exclusive releases you won’t find at your local bottle shop—often unavailable anywhere else.
Can I skip a month or cancel?
Absolutely. Barrel Lane is designed to be flexible. You can skip a release, pause your membership, or cancel anytime through your account. No lock-ins, just great whisky when you want it.
What’s included with each delivery?
Each box includes a full-size (700ml) bottle of premium Australian whisky, our exclusive Barrel Lane Magazine with tasting notes and distillery stories, and occasional extras like glassware or bonus drams—always curated with care.
When will I receive my whisky?
Subject to stock availability your first box will ship the next business day. Our monthly boxes are charged and shipped on the 1st of each month. Deliveries typically arrive within a few business days, depending on your location. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
How much is a subscription?
Our pricing is flexible, ranging from $135 to $165 per bottle, depending on the whisky and its ABV (alcohol by volume). Higher ABV or limited edition releases may sit at the upper end. Each month, we’ll share full details - including tasting notes and pricing - before you decide to opt in. You’re always in control, and only pay for the whiskies you choose to receive.
