Timboon’s Smoked Sherry Single Malt is a whisky with depth, character, and an unmistakable sense of place. Crafted inthe heart of Victoria’s whisky country, this release combines tradition withbold creativity. Josh Walker and Charlie Johnson carefully blended first-fill and second-fill ex-sherry casks, enhanced by lightly peated Spanish sherry casks, to create a dram that’s as layered as it is balanced.Aged for eight years in Victoria’s dynamic climate, it greets you with creamed honey and macadamia tart on the nose. The palate unfolds with brandy custard, trifle, and a whisper of applewood smoke, before finishing with notes of crème brûlée and smouldering marshmallow. This is Timboon at its best.
