If you really want to see a distillery's spirit characteristics, there is no greater test than an American Oak cask. Not only is there no place for imperfections—like the gooey richness a PX cask might offer—but you'll experience the subtle notes the distiller crafted into the new make spirit through all the decisions made along the way.
With Lawrenny's American Oak expression, the drinker is able to dissect the signature stone fruit notes Lawrenny achieves through their selection of yeasts and distilling practices. Their careful selection of American Oak casks allows the oak to complement these peach and nectarine notes with heady notes of vanilla, toasted coconut and golden syrup.

Tasting notes 
Nose: Toasted Marshmallow, ripe white nectarine and vanilla all sitting on a sturdy warm oak base. 
Palate: Peach Clafoutis fresh from the oven, white chocolate coconut rough and a dusting of cinnamon 
Finish: Vanilla Slice transitioning to a lengthy balance of maple syrup drizzled mango and pineapple
